Local Transport Plan 2
This documents sets out Southampton City Councils vision, policies and programmes for transport over the next five years. The Council is required to produce the LTP and submit it to central government under the terms of the Transport Act 2000.
The plan continues the good progress that was made during the first LTP (2001-2006) In accordance with DfT guidance LTP2 takes into account four shared priorities which we will address over the LTP2 period. They are
- Accessibility
- Congestion
- Road Safety
- Air Quality
