Steve was born and has always lived in Southampton, worked in the building industry as a Heating and Ventilating Project Engineer and has since been a volunteer for some fifteen years gaining a wide knowledge and interest in the Voluntary and Community Sectors of both Southampton and Hampshire.

He is a passionate campaigner for the rights of Disabled People and is a Director of both Southampton Centre for Independent Living Community Interest Company and Hampshire Coalition of Disabled People.

Steve travels everywhere by bus, has an allotment and an interest in local history.
