Ralph Facey
![]() | Ralph joined Swaythling Housing Society in January 2005 and has over 20 years housing management experience gained in a range of different organisations. In Birmingham, Ralph coordinated preparations for the transfer of the City’s Castle Vale estate to a H.A.T and oversaw the formal transfer. After 3 years spent as Housing Services Manager at Southampton City Council, Ralph became Chief Housing Officer at Gosport and led the service through a period of successful and significant change resulting in a sustained improvement in satisfaction and the Audit Commission concluding that the authority’s housing service provided a good service with promising prospects for improvement. In January 2005 Ralph joined Swaythling and led preparations for the July 2005 Audit Commission inspection of the Society’s services, which resulted in a good service and excellent prospects for improvement judgment - the highest award made to an RSL in 2005/06. Swaythling in 2005 became the Government’s Homebuy agent helping keyworkers across the County access home ownership and rented accommodation and now as part of the Radian group, continues to play an active role in the development of affordable housing in the City and throughout the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire area. |
