![]() | As the Strategic Partnerships Manager within Southampton City Council, I am responsible for the development and support of appropriate, effective, and vibrant strategic partnerships which will secure the delivery of agreed economic, social and environmental outcomes for the benefit of all those who live, visit and work in the city. I have worked for SCC since 1991 in a variety of roles including unitary status case-making and implementation; organisational development/change agent within the direct service organisation; and community regeneration including SRB6 bid development. More recently, I was responsible for developing and launching the Southampton Partnership as a condition of receiving Neighbourhood Renewal Funding. I am a member of LSP Futures (national LSP practitioner’s network), and academically I have a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Diploma in Training Management to bring to my work. Before 1991, I spent 13 years in The Army where I was a communications sergeant in the Royal Artillery. I live in Woolston, married to a nurse and have a teenage daughter, and can usually be spotted at weekends riding my Harley-Davidson in the streets of Southampton or further afield.
