Post 16 Transport Partnership
Transport costs can be a barrier between some young people and further education or training. The Southampton Post 16 Transport Partnership is a group which exists to remove these barriers. We include representatives from Southampton City Council, the Learning and Skills Council, Connexions and local schools and colleges.
You can use this service if:
• you live in Southampton
• you are between the ages of 16 and 19
• you are attending a further education college
• you are finding it hard to pay for your travel costs
You may be able to access money to pay for public transport to and from college. Your college will be able to tell you whether you are eligible.
