Communities and Renewal Partnership
As part of the Economy & Enterprise Board Review being undertaken by the Assistant Chief Executive ( Economic Development & Regeneration), the Communities & Renewal Partnership has been wound up and its work transferred to the Economy and Enterprise Board.
The Overarching Purpose of the Community and Renewal Partnership was to:
To drive forward the neighbourhood renewal agenda reducing poverty and deprivation in the city, closing the gap so that:
- No one is seriously disadvantaged because of where they live, their personal circumstances or the community that they belong to, and
- Everyone has the chance to acquire the skills, confidence and employment opportunities they need to improve their quality of life, and
- Measurable improvements in community cohesion are achieved.
