Communities and Renewal Partnership
Overarching Purpose:
responsible for driving forward the neighbourhood renewal agenda reducing poverty and deprivation in the city, closing the gap so that :
- No one is seriously disadvantaged because of where they live, their personal circumstances or the community that they belong to, and
- Everyone has the chance to acquire the skills, confidence and employment opportunities they need to improve their quality of life, and
- Measurable improvements in community cohesion are achieved.
